Mexican novels lose to the boom of Chinese soap operas - China surpassed the TV volume to traditional markets like Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico as it raised 35 billion dollars.

Zhang Haitao, deputy director of the Administration of Audio and National Television reported that the growth of television and radio revenue was 20% in 2010.


China's film industry continues to grow and exceeded foreign productions, former leaders of the local market. Among the new films, is a lot of animated films, which increased exponentially in recent years to almost one million minutes.

China has 35 film industries, 70 television production facilities, 227 radio stations, 247 television stations and 293 cinemas. In 2010, the country produced a total of 526 films and 436 novels.
